Rock Climbing
Sure, maybe you’d rather be climbing Half Dome, but that’s a long way away, and there’s too many tourists to deal with anyhow. Here, you’ve got a rock wall right in front of you, with nothing to stop you from making it to the top but perhaps the climb itself. You’ve got mountain goat blood in you, though, and with all your friends watching, you’re not about to give up or take a fall.

With a wide array of climbing walls to choose from, everyone is bound to find a climb that is challenging and to their liking—beginners and pros alike. Your bachelor or bachelorette party will receive instruction from a staff member before they set you loose. There are 4 climbers to every staff member who are there to belay you.

There is 10,000 square feet of climbing: 2,500 square feet of Bouldering, 30-foot Top Rope walls and as long as 40-foot Lead climbs. Imagine climbing through a cave and topping out 15 feet above the ground! Just don’t look down! Four self-belay systems are available to climb on your own as well. All our routes are clearly labeled and changed regularly by experienced route setters.

Tables are set up for you to bring your own food and drink (no alcohol permitted)

After a challenging day of climbing, you and your friends will leave with a sense of accomplishment and have a newfound appreciation for the more leisurely climb up the corporate ladder and the long road of marriage.

Surfing lesson
It’s time to hit the waves and finally live up all that California dreaming you’ve been having. Feel the sea spray on your face and experience the thrill of harnessing the power of a massive wave. If Keanu managed to catch a wave in Point Break, you sort of have to do it. Surfs up, bro!

So you’ve never surfed before. No big. Santa Monica is one of the best places to learn to surf in the Los Angeles area because of the gradual slope of its sandy ocean floor. Waves break gently far offshore no matter what the ocean conditions, delivering consistently perfect waves for beginners. Your bachelors or bachelorettes will be up and surfing on their first lesson, guaranteed. Build your strength and coordination while enjoying a satisfying, fundamental connection with the ocean. You’ll be supplied with your own foam long board and get on-the-beach surf instruction to give you the basics of how to paddle and stand up before heading out to the surf to catch your first wave.

All surf instructors are CPR and first aid certified and very knowledgeable about ocean and wave dynamics. Just don’t get too crazy—getting CPR from your surf instructor isn’t the memory you want to be left with, no matter how hot he or she may be.
